BCI had a football team until I understand, sometime in the early 1970's. (date corrected)
I heard two reasons why football was eliminated from BCI. One was rising costs and the other was because of serious injuries over the years.
Other then the death in 1941, I could not find any other serious injury as a result of football at BCIVS.
