April 1967, Belleville Collegiate student Robert Reid, son of Quinte Secondary School Principal, Leslie Reid, was one of 35 lucky student chosen across Canada to attend a Scientific Project at Lakefield.
Robert was chosen by the Royal Canadian Institute and will attend the program at Lakefield summer 1967, which will have several specialist in science, running several scientific experiments.
In August, the 35 chosen will then attend Expo 67 in Montreal.
